A fun morning, everybody buzzing around finalizing the last minute preparations, make-up hair etc… the air filled with excitement, everyone was looking forward to the day that was to follow. Roisin has arranged a surprise for Michael which seen Michael arriving at the chapel in some style.

After the ceremony the family portraits and bridal party shots were taken at Parkanaur. A simply beautiful location with the benefits of an elegant drawing room where I was able to make good use of the light coming through the window. Although a little bit cold we had the advantage of a large blue sky which adorned around the house, continuing to give us a backdrop for some fantastic images.

In our wedding plan meeting we discussed different and unusual locations for their album and to my amazement, Roisins came up with a really ????? location for some different photos. Again Roisin thanks for ‘thinking outside the box’

The wedding continued on at a lavish reception in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown were there was plenty of craic & entertainment with Patsy O’Hagan humouring the guests.

The dancing continued long into the night as everybody enjoyed a great day.

Thanks Michael & Roisin for the chance to capture your wedding day.

What a fun-filled wedding ! A crisp, bright sunny morning started with a hunt on the shores of Lough Neagh. Sean was accompanied by his best man, groomsman, pageboy and two black Labradors on the hunt for some morning fowl.

It was great craic capturing these men doing what they love, although I have to say wouldn’t be the greatest shot in the world all of them missing two ducks that rose in front of them. Some great shots ‘not gun’ were achieved that morning and led to a relaxed fun packed day ahead.

When arriving at the brides house I found everyone to be calm, chilled, relaxed and excited about the big day, as I captured the usual getting ready shots. Mum was busy in the kitchen preparing for the party back at the house.

After the ceremony we returned to the brides house were we continued in the beautiful gardens to capture the family portraits; unfortunately having to duck in and out of a few rain showers.

Weather permitting we were to head to the Battery for some more bridal shots. Well I have to say the following was the best craic I have had capturing photos of a wedding so far. We all headed out into Lough Neagh in Sean’s fishing boat, the bridal party enjoyed a few beverages as the best man tested out the top speed on Sean’s fishing boat. The screams and laughter filled the air as we circled out on the Lough coming into shore again on the appearance of a dark cloud.

When we got back onto dry land the party continued with a game of pool in the Battery bar.

The day then followed with a reception in the Greenvale in Cookstown.

The party I would say continued into the ‘wee’ small hours.

A big thank-you to Sean & Tracey for following up on our ideas that we spoke about at your pre-wedding plan meeting. It will take some beating !

A Pretty relaxed atmosphere greeted me the morning of Brian & Diane’s wedding. The usual activities of hair, make-up and chilling out were going ???? I captured the build-up to the morning. A very close bond was evident between Diane & her father. The priest a family friend popped in for a few words to calm any nerves. As the ceremony started glorious sunshine shone in the window filling everyone’s hearts with happiness helped along with some yarns from Father Gates.

We continued with family portraits in the grounds of Killymoon Castle. The fabulous location not only offers the fantastic backdrop of the castle but also some glorious old buildings into which I can capture that ’something different’

The reception carried on at the Greenvale Hotel in Cookstown as the couple danced the night away with family and friends.

Thanks Brian & Diane for choosing Say Cheese to capture those special moments.

A warm sunny morning greeted us in the picturesque village of Drumsurn with the green fields, mountains and stonewalls adding to the scenery.

A busy morning with lots of ladies having hair, make-up and nails done.

They were able to chill out and share a moment with mum and the bride to be with a cool glass of champagne.

A tree lined path up to church greeted us as we prepared to capture the men waiting on the beautiful ladies to appear.

Love was certainly in the air as the Autumn sunshine shown down on the wedding bands to create ‘heart shapes’ on their mass booklet, ‘a great shot !’

After the ceremony we continue on with family portraits in the beautiful grounds of Lucille’s Aunt & Uncle. A few sheds sheeted in tin where also evident in the yard. I found great inspiration in capturing the vertical lines, texture & shading of which produced ‘outside the box’ shots.

With the backdrop of a spectacular mountain I decided that we should take a romantic walk through the fields to capture the beauty that was before us. Following a journey to Burt in Co. Donegal we continued with some fun bridal party shots in the grounds of the hotel.

Lucille & Cathal slipped away to the bridal suite where i captured some moments of love, fun & laughter as they escaped the buzz of the day for a little relaxation.

The party followed in the reception room where everyone partied into the night.

Thanks for letting me capture your day.

A Beautiful sunny morning in August, I attended the grooms house, where we got some great shots of gareth, his brothers, mum and dad.

The guys adorned shades and sipped a few beers in the garden whilst I captured the mood and relaxed atmosphere of the morning. I then travelled the short distance to the brides house where the buzz of activity was much greater, with all the beautiful girls adding the finishing touches to compliment their elegant dresses.

Although we were greeted at the church with white boarding and a spire high scaffolding structure. I felt this was a little different from the norm so decided to take some shots against the unusual situation. “Great shots”

After the ceremony we went to killymoon castle where we continued with the family portraits. Connie & Gareth were really easy to work with and I captured the love and beauty of the day with great slots in the midst of this historic castle.

We followed to the reception where their was great humour & laughter where captured during the speeches.

A short time later the bride and groom took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband & wife. All the flash bulbs were flashing as guests joined in on the photo shoot.

A thoroughly great day with some great shots captured.

Thanks Connie & Gareth

Traveling a bit further a field, i headed almost to the antrim coast to the small village of Armoy. Although a cold and blustery morning, this did not deter the buzz and excitement as emma and her sisters where busy beautifying themselves for the big day ahead.

A very picturesque location, a small quaint church greeted us as we arrived for the ceremony. Following this we made our way to an outstanding location known as the “the hedges” shown in some of the photos. Apart form having to dodge a few vehicles as it was on a public road i found the location inspiring to capture. A golden ripe barley field beside the trees was so inviting i just had to get among it, being careful not to dirty anyones dresses of-course!

The reception then followed back in the Glenavon Hotel, Cookstown, Co Tyrone, where everyone partied the night away.

With the further growth of Say Cheese, our new team member Johnny travelled to photograph the wedding of Sean & Lee
A lovely bright sunny morning emerged on my travels towards Omagh. A Very relaxed atmosphere greeted me at the entrance to Lee’s family home.
Later in the afternoon we proceeded to ‘Let the dance begin’ statues in Strabane for some interesting and fun shots, also greatly appreciated by the entourage of ‘tooting’ lorry drivers whom passed the vicinity at the time !
The journey of photography continued to the Historical out-buildings, at Brookhall Estate in Derry. Finally , the party resumed at the City of Derry Hotel.

I would like to thank Sean & Lee for a wonderful day and for allowing us to have the opportunity to work with them.
